ATTENTION: THE ROCK JUNIOR 2010 PROGRAM HAS BEEN UPDATED On Saturday 5 June 2010 children will be able to take part in the Climbing Campus to get to know the environment, respect it and climb in complete safety. Lessons about how to climb on limestone boulders will be carried out, together with lessons about the life and world of rocks, and how to move in complete safety. These will obviously be carried out under the watchful and competent eye of mountain professionals. The lessons: - life of the rocks / the formation and history of the rocks we climb on - life on the rocks / the other inhabitants of the rocky environment, get to know them and respect them. - move in complete safety / learn the basic belaying techniques - respect the environment and the rocks The age categories cat. "A": date of birth 2000/1999/1998/1997 cat. "B": date of birth 2005/2004/2003/2002/2001 INFORMATION CLIMBING CAMPUS WHEN: Saturday 5 June 2010 WHERE: beneath the limestone boulders at the foot of Monte Colodri. (Arco - Lago di Garda - Trentino) WHO: all children aged between 5 - 13, divided into two age groups WHAT: an enjoyable educational tour comprised of short climbing lessons on the limestone boulders and lessons concerning nature, the environment and safety. The children will be split into groups of 20 and will carry out the equipped itinerary between the limestone boulders at the foot of Monte Colodri. TO PARTICIPATE: fill in the registration form available on this site and confirm registration on Saturday 5 June at the Climbing Stadium. COST: Euro 10.00 to be paid Saturday 6 June directly at the Climbing Stadium DEADLINE: Sunday 30 May 2010. ATTENTION: max. number of participants: 80 GEAR: On request, the organisers can provide a climbing harness.
